GDB TENDER BOOK EXCEEDS RM2.0 BILLION MARK (PRESS RELEASE – 7TH JUNE 2018)

  • Tender book comprises high-value residential and commercial buildings in Klang Valley
  • Supports Government’s adoption of open tender system for public contracts

Selangor, Malaysia, 7 June 2018 – Construction services firm GDB Holdings Berhad (GDB, the Group, GDB控股有限公司) saw its tender book rise to RM2.1 billion as at 31 May 2018 as it participates in more tenders for high-rise projects in the Klang Valley, jumping significantly from RM1.4 billion as at 23 April 2018.

The Group’s current tender book consists of six projects, namely high-rise residential and commercial buildings.

Mr. Cheah Ham Cheia (谢汉正), Managing Director of GDB Holdings Berhad said:

“GDB continues to witness robust tender activity for the construction of high-rise buildings in the Klang Valley and strives to participate in a greater number of high-value projects to drive growth.”

“We are optimistic of winning several tenders, given our proven technical expertise, track record for completing prominent high-rise projects ahead of schedule, as well as adherence to stringent safety and quality standards. We look forward to these projects eventually enhancing our current order book of RM808.7 million.”
